These pictures are in no particular order- just random ones from the summer/fall!! we had a wonderful summer- went swimming in pools a LOT, and went on our first family vacation up to the Michigan beaches, camping, and visiting my grandparents. It was so fun, the kids had a great time, and the weather was gorgeous! Most of the time anyway- on the first day we arrived to go camping it was POURING rain, and everything got soaked- so that was exciting trying to put up our tent while we got drenched! Camping was actually fun though! The kids slept great in a tent surprizingly.
We also sold our house this summer, bought a house, moved out/into a house, and have just been a tad bit busy with all of that going on. haha. We also found out in the midst of it all that Nathan was getting laid off from his current job. He will be losing his job this december. But, we know that everything will be okay- and Nate will hopefully get a new job to provide for the family. Thank goodness for the gospel and the peace that it brings to us during uncertain times. We truly feel blessed.
This fall has been a beautiful one! The leaves are so pretty and the weather has actually been in the 60's to 70's for a little while! We took the kids to multiple fall farms where they had fun acivities like zip lines, huge slides, wagon rides, a tractor train, and a corn maze that we totally got lost in!! Lilia also participated in her first Primary Program for church and it was sooo cute! She practiced her lines for like every day for 2 weeks straight- and luckily- her practicing paid off. Her lines were this- "I will follow God's plan by showing I love my friends." It makes sense that they gave her those lines, because she honestly cares so much about all of her friends. She has a friend that is moving soon- her name is Layni- and Lilia cried almost a whole day when she found out she was moving. How sad! It is really hard to say good bye to friends. But, I think it is good for her to experience learning how to say goodbye to people... And feeling at peace about it. The Prahl's are a sweet family though, and we will miss them!
Halloween was great- the kids went trick or treating and had so much fun. I'm glad they enjoyed themselves. I'm so grateful for eternal families, and that we get to create sweet happy memories together for eternity!
